The Spread a Smile Foundation India is a wonderful initiative where underprivileged street children are given an opportunity to study, enhance learnings and equip themselves with education and vocation, for a better and positive future. Spread A Smile has changed the lives of  300 children who have triumphed in spite of the most daunting circumstances—ranging from pot addiction, gambling and stealing to having parents who were alcoholics and drug addicts.

It is also working with over 85 women from slums who are now being taught skills and craftsmanship so that they are empowered through employment. They are deployed in making gift bags, crochet mats, candles and also bake muffins and cookies.

ADORA collaborated with an NGO – Spread a Smile led by the lovely Sangita Mehra.

We gave the women employment opportunities by designing a range of crochet potli bags, bottle cases and tissue covers. The products were sold at various exhibits all over Delhi NCR with all profits going back to the welfare and upliftment of the women.
